Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prepare for my newborn's session?
Anytime you book a newborn session with me, I send you a full newborn information sheet and prep guide. It has information on what to expect, how to prepare for the session, information about my studio, and other questions you may have.
In addition to this, I send out a questionnaire prior to the session so I can get to know you and your family a little better, and also so I have a better idea of what your preferences are for your photoshoot!
What should we wear to our family session?
For family photos, I suggest you wear similar colours, or colours that compliment each other, though you do not have to match! Neutral colours are recommended.
Generally, I like to advise my clients to shy away from patterns - solids are always the better choice. Otherwise, just wear what you normally would - your family photos should portray you and your loved ones, just as you are!
In addition, all clients who book family sessions with me will receive a prep guide with more information on what to wear!
Do I need to bring anything to the newborn studio session?
Just a hot coffee for yourself, or help yourself to a Nespresso, or bottled water in my studio.
For the photoshoot though, you can feel free to bring anything that you want, especially if it has sentimental value to you or your family. However, I do supply all outfits, props, wraps, headbands, etc.
How long will it take to get my images
This is probably one of the most common questions asked.
I'm pleased to say, for most sessions except studio newborn sessions and seasonal mini sessions, you'll get your images back within 3-5 business days.
For in-studio newborn sessions, the turn around time is about 7-10 business days (often times sooner though) due to the precision and the amount of time it takes to edit each individual photo.
For seasonal mini sessions, you can expect to receive your completed gallery within 7-10 days.
How do I receive my images?
When you book a session with me, a private online client portal is created for your to access at anytime.
Your gallery will be uploaded to this portal, and you will be able to view and download all your images in your online gallery. You can also grant access of your gallery to your friends and family if you choose.
Are you vaccinated?
This has been a common question, and I know some clients (and potential clients) are uncomfortable asking, so I'm more than happy to share my vaccination status.
I am happy to inform all my clients that YES, I AM FULLY VACCINATED.
As a photographer, I work with newborns and young children, who are the most vulnerable of our population at the moment. You and your baby's safety is always my number 1 priority.
I am fully vaccinated, and will be taking other precautions to protect you and your family from Covid-19, such as extra precautions for sanitization, and I will be wearing a mask during our entire session.
